The significance of gratitude Is often lost upon most, A simple thank you may suffice Sometimes even a nod. Acknowledgment is what matters Recognition the most. "it is their job" say some And some call it duty. But doing a job the way it was meant to Those people you will find hardly. Whether it be a server serving with a smile Or a nurse with a caring hand Be it an uncorrupt official Or be it a philanthropic wealthy man Be it your loving mother and father Or your wife or child Or, be it the stranger who lend you a hand. If everyone played their roles responsibly The world would surely be a beautiful stage But alas, it is nothing but a chaotic mess Gratitude is a must for those who do it well For, one thank you can make them feel that after all, all is well.
