Through the eyes of my two year old

The green of the garbage truck, the blue of the courier van, the red fire truck these are the colours  i saw on most days, but never noticed. These are new found colours in the normal grey existence of daily hustle bustle that my 2 year old son taught me to see. " ma! Green" he shouts as he sees the garbage truck go by. Never has a garbage truck brought a smile to my face before. There is so much that a 2 yr old can teach you-smiling at passers by, saying hello to neighbors you never spoke to before,being happy with just a hug from a loved one, dusting yourself off and getting up every time you fall. Waking up with a smile every morning, sighing the word " nice" everytime your loved ones hug you, being able to say candidly " i don't want it" everytime you don't want it. Simple things, untouched by societal pressures, untouched by pretense. Simple things that i have learnt from my 2 yr old, many more lessons being learned daily. And I know t...
